Year 3 Maths Mastery
These resources are particularly appropriate for using if your child is following a maths mastery programme in school. They are also superb resources for teachers to use in the classroom or for same day intervention and practice or as assessment.
Practice and consolidation play a key part in the mastery approach to help children build fluency and understanding of mathematical concepts. In Year 3 the numbers that children work with will get larger, including hundreds, tens and ones, but by the end of the year children should be able to use facts and procedures confidently, recall key facts and be able to show and explain their understanding.
We have organised the terms using a typical maths mastery block programme. At the moment we have included enough material for one worksheet/set a day. See the links below for more detail about each block.
