Counting on in equal steps. Not as easy as it looks and fingers may be used!
The best way to count larger numbers of objects is to group them into 5s or 10s.
Some fascinating patterns can be found by counting on a number square.
Use knowledge to subtract a single digit from a teen number quickly and efficiently. Rather than just counting up in ones, look for two steps, firstly to ten and then to the number.
