On-screen activities to help children master Year 1 addition, with numbers up to 20. Adding two numbers with totals up to 20, adding a single digit to 10 and a single digit to a teen number are all available using colourful lively displays requiring children to input answers on the screen. Printable marked answer sheets are available at the end of each set together with on-screen rewards for all correct answers. There are pictorial representations, bar models and number lines to give support where needed.

Our on-screen subtraction activities for iPad or PC are ideal if your child is following a maths mastery programme. Activities include understanding and using terms such as 'subtract' and 'subtract from' and subtracting a single digit from a 2-digit number. Bar models and number lines are options for those who need support.

In the spring term children will begin to add up to 20 and subtract from numbers up to 20. They will use their knowledge of number bonds to 10 to find number bonds to 20. Four weeks are given for this work.
