Several ways to investigate the relationship between addition and subtraction.
Taking 15, 16, 17 or 18 from 2-digit numbers. The easiest way of doing this is by taking a whole ten and adjusting.

Word questions which are all about dividing money. Some involve dividing odd numbers of pounds, without a remainder. (Split the remaining pounds into pence.)
To find a quarter of a number, just halve it and halve it again! Easy!!
