Time for some colouring of elephants, cats and ducks - but not too much as only the groups with less in have to be coloured. Encourage the use of the terms 'less than' and 'more than' during these exercises.
One less than: lighthouses.
The boys are keen on getting more balls than anyone else, but they need some help deciding which is more.
'It's not fair, he's got more than me!' If your child has brothers or sisters he/she is probably already familiar with the terms 'more than' and 'less than'. But there's no harm in some extra practice with these penguins! All just with numbers up to 5.
