This week we are publishing a quite tricky set of maths worksheets in the Superbrain section, all about estimating on a number line.
The number line is from 0 to 10, but there are no numbers shown between these, and children have to estimate where numbers would lie. It is not expected that they will be entirely accurate, but reasonably close. A good way to tackle these is to work out the half way point and recognise that 5 would be positioned there. it is then easier to estimate where numbers between 0 and 5 lie, or numbers between 5 and 10.
